    I am not a big buffet eater due to germs but this place exceeded my expectations and once I got in this place to get my food. I noticed that the food was covered over and there was no way for people to breathe of cough over the food. I also enjoyed everything I put on my plate but I enjoyed even more was the fresh taste of the fresh veggies in cucumber and vinegar salad on the salad bar. I totally had 2 servings of this and came home and me some. Overall I enjoyed my experience at this buffet. It was late morning when I went and it was not crowded at all. The only issue I had was that I did see a few plates that was not clean enough to my liking but overall the food was really good.

    Iam not one too crazy for hometown buffet but i suck it up for my kids cuz i love them! Haha This specific hometown buffet is the one tho! I have been to the the in national city off of highland many times and the one on palomar just has no love in their food. Feels like this hometown buffet actually pays attention to their customers and demands on fresh food!! Everything is hot and actually has food flavor. I know most of the food is sort of bland but hey it's a buffet place !! I know the elderly love some hometown buffet and kids too!!
